A mix of dairy herds
Our barista milk comes from a mix of dairy herds; Brown Swiss, Friesian, Holsteins and Jerseys, which creates a balance of fresh milk for consistent foam and a high butter fat content to produce the perfect milk for coffee. It is this teamwork between us and our farmers which ensures the cows have the right diet, care and attention to produce perfectly balanced milk every time.

Cornish Dairy
At Cornish Dairy Co, we and our farmers are passionate about the health and welfare of the cows that produce the essential ingredient in all our great tasting dairy products – high quality, Cornish milk. The dairy farms that are contracted to supply Cornish Dairy Co are all located within 25 miles of the dairy and we take great pride in the fact that we know each one of our farmers personally.
Although no two Cornish Dairy Co farms are the same, all our farmers share a common set of values and comply with a comprehensive set of standards that ensure high levels of animal health, welfare and husbandry. We are caretakers of the land; we and our farmers recognise the need to look after the environment for future generations.

FAQs
Learn more about our Cornish Dairy Co standards and delicious dairy products.
Is barista milk different from normal milk?
The difference between normal milk and barista milk is that barista milk has a higher fat content. This creates a different balance of fat to protein, allowing the milk to foam more effectively and produce better coffee.
What is barista milk?
Barista milk is specially designed for coffee making. It has a higher protein content which makes the milk withstand heat better and creates a more stable foam, smoother texture and creamier taste. You can compare barista milk vs normal milk here.
Can I use barista milk as normal milk?
Yes! It’s also fantastic in cereal, for shakes or straight from the bottle.
Is Cornish Dairy Co milk organic?
We don’t produce organic milk. We work to a set of high standards called our Our Farming Commitment, which helps us to look after the pastures, herds and wildlife.
Are Cornish Dairy Co products pasteurised and suitable for pregnant women?
All our products are made from pasteurised milk, and suitable for pregnant women but always consult with a health professional if you are ever unsure.
What are the Cornish Dairy Co farming standards?
Wherever possible our cows graze on pastures and this is independently audited as part of the annual Red Tractor audit.
Although no two Cornish Dairy Co farms are the same, all our farmers share a common set of values and comply with a comprehensive set of standards that ensure high levels of animal health, welfare and husbandry.
We share our farmers commitment to continuous improvement in the area of animal health and welfare. As such, we are determined to work with and support them, to ensure that their on-farm practices and performance levels meet the expectation of our customers and ultimately those who consume our products.
What’s the best way to recycle milk bottles?
