Our standards

We are caretakers of the land; we and our farmers recognise the need to look after the environment for future generations.

Regen project

Cornish Dairy Co has deep-rooted philosophy of caring for the land and animals and regenerative farming allows us to fulfil this. Regenerative farming has offered us a way to go beyond sustainability, activity improving soil health and biodiversity, reducing carbon emissions and more, all without comprising on the quality we pride ourselves on. Regenerative farming ultimately represents a future-focused model that benefits the environment, farmers, animals and consumers also, all while reinforcing Cornish Dairy Co’s values and position as a leader in the British dairy industry.

Cornish Dairy Co has worked closely with local farmers to implement regenerative farming techniques since 2020. Our farmers are leading the way in practices that help reduce carbon emissions and promote long-term sustainability. These include ploughing a maximum of 25% of their land every year and boosting soil vitality with organic matter and more.

Our farming is better farming, with higher standards as standard.

Zero to landfill

We recognise our responsibility to adopt and promote a robust environmental waste management plan and we engage our staff team to ensure we deliver our plans to the highest standards. We have been a zero to landfill company since 2020.

Recycle

Plastic milk bottles are made from clear plastic and are universally recycled in the UK through council collection schemes. The more we can get back into the recycle system, the more we can reuse.
